Marcel Militaru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Graeme McLise. 0-1. Wolfgang Vesterø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Rosby hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pheonix FC booed when Leicester Foxes Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jez Alcock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Graeme McLise, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wolfgang Vesterø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Graeme McLise read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Graeme McLise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Læksand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Vesterø in the 44th minute of play forced Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Graeme McLise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leicester Foxes Academy's Peter Pennant got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Wolfgang Vesterø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Graeme McLise didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester Foxes Academy's zone, Wolfgang Vesterø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graeme McLise came out of the goal and Wolfgang Vesterø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Leicester Foxes Academy manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pheonix FC to win.
