Prospero Matxin made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Mădălin Cangeopol sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Tănasă during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mădălin Cangeopol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Prospero Matxin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 17 de enero team's Prospero Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 17th minute of play. Primitivo Dominic kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Prospero Matxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Cangeopol. Jaime Txema hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Adrian Mutu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Adrian Mutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Matxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 30th minute. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Adrian Mutu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Mutu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Matxin having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Mădălin Cangeopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 17 de enero team's Prospero Matxin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Mădălin Cangeopol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Prospero Matxin. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 42nd minute Mădălin Cangeopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the 17 de enero team defense, Mădălin Cangeopol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Matxin. The 17 de enero team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Matxin should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Adrian Mutu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Mutu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Matxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ricardo Benat made the kick off in the second half. When Eugenio Burni fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 17 de enero team's protests and gave Eugenio Burni a yellow card for diving instead. Prospero Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Prospero Matxin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mădălin Cangeopol went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Prospero Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 17 de enero team getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Remigio Urko hit a great ball. Prospero Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Gotzon in the 56th minute of the match. Mădălin Cangeopol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Cangeopol in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Matxin saved 17 de enero team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in 17 de enero team's zone, Mădălin Cangeopol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Matxin came out of the goal and Mădălin Cangeopol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, 17 de enero team's Remigio Urko got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the 17 de enero team defense, Mădălin Cangeopol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Matxin. The 17 de enero team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Matxin should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Cangeopol in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Matxin saved 17 de enero team from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Mutu came free, but Prospero Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 17 de enero team getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Baltasar Millano hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Cangeopol in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Matxin saved 17 de enero team from getting behind. If Adrian Mutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prospero Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mădălin Cangeopol's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Cangeopol in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Mădălin Cangeopol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Tractorul Satulung -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
