The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Ros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xilo Cortada's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Börje Axelsson's late challenge caught a Purple Shadows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jurand Waselenczuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Ros having to interfere. When Purple Shadows's Jurand Waselenczuk in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pajala Sunrise's goalie prevented a goal. When Artur Kapinos fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Shadows's protests and gave Artur Kapinos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Purple Shadows's Artur Kapinos got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Jurand Waselenczuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Purple Shadows getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ludomil Harbaszewski hit a great ball. Xilo Cortada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Axel Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Walter Tinglöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xilo Cortada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Purple Shadows's Milosz Wieczorek got a free kick in the 29th minute. Enerik Hyka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Ros having to interfere. Axel Ros came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Purple Shadows's Gorom Kanø. But to his dismay, Gorom Kanø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Purple Shadows's Ubaldo Lluterio got control of the ball when Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gorom Kanø made a kick off. Purple Shadows's Ubaldo Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by SK Au in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Ingvar Lindqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pajala Sunrise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple Shadows the free kick. Ingvar Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Axel Ros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorom Kanø, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes, Per-Arne Svartengren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pajala Sunrise and the Purple Shadows players grew even worse after the yellow card. Purple Shadows's Ubaldo Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Welle in the 61st minute of play. But to his dismay, Xilo Cortada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Purple Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Wieczorek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Waselenczuk in the 74th minute of play. SK Au fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Lluterio having to interfere. Ingvar Lindqvist hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Per-Arne Svartengren hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Jurand Waselenczuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pajala Sunrise's Axel Ros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Pajala Sunrise's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gorom Kanø fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 92 minutes, Xilo Cortada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Shadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xilo Cortada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pajala Sunrise's Axel Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Waselenczuk in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Purple Shadows could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pajala Sunrise throughout the match.
