Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfried Spaniol in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Ros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Wilfried Spaniol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Ros came out of the goal and Wilfried Spaniol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Börje Axelsson. Axel Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfried Spaniol in the 40th minute of play. Horácio Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from SK Au, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The Pajala Sunrise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. SK Au hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Axel Ros was a little too slow when Hulk Haaland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. Axel Ros made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Marouane Cornillon sent off a good shot on target. Galo na Veia FC™ played a much better game than Pajala Sunrise and deserved their victory. The Pajala Sunrise players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
