The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohdan Luňáček in the 5th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Krzysztof Domamir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Czeszejko. In the 14th minute of the match Bohdan Luňáček sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krzysztof Domamir skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Szczecin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bohdan Luňáček was slow to take the kick. During this time FK Řitka's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Bohdan Luňáček almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pogoń Szczecin's Krzysztof Domamir did a great save. FK Řitka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bohdan Luňáček in the 17th minute. After taking down the ball on FK Řitka's corner Bohdan Luňáček fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Krzysztof Domamir quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Wojtowicz in the 24th minute of play forced FK Řitka's goalkeeper Eugen Šandor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bohdan Luňáček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Krzysztof Domamir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FK Řitka's Eugen Šandor got control of the ball when Bartlomiej Wojtowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugen Šandor was a little too slow when Klement Plachetka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. FK Řitka's attentive Oto Bažant managed to snatch the ball when Antoni Skaradoski made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Klement Plachetka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugen Šandor came out and tried to block the shot, but Klement Plachetka slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. Eugen Šandor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Bentkowski in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Bohdan Luňáček made the kick off in the second half. Antoni Skaradoski made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FK Řitka's Rafael Vašina. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Szczecin's zone, Milan Brodský stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Domamir came out of the goal and Milan Brodský tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Burdzel in the 89th minute of play forced FK Řitka's goalkeeper Eugen Šandor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Šandor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Wojtowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, FK Řitka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel Bílý to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Šandor came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń Szczecin's Bartlomiej Wojtowicz. But to his dismay, Bartlomiej Wojtowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
