An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Böcklund in the 12th minute of play forced FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Neville Smythe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Henk-Jan Fortuin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Johannesburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bispmotala BK the free kick. Henk-Jan Fortuin hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Gabriel Ståhlman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Neville Smythe. Gabriel Ståhlman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Ståhlman in the 20th minute of play. Brandon Liau hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Neville Smythe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Andersson in the 23rd minute of play. Billy Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Neville Smythe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bispmotala BK's Billy Andersson in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Johannesburg's goalie prevented a goal. Lebang Sibeko charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lebang Sibeko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Billy Andersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neville Smythe was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ted Sandberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Neville Smythe. That made the score 6-0 in the 42 minute of play. Neville Smythe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Sandberg in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinhardt Steyn was the one to do the kick off. Ted Sandberg took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Sandberg in the 59th minute of play forced FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Neville Smythe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes FC Johannesburg got a freekick which was hit by Aubrey Serage. In the 78th minute, Benjamin Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ted Sandberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Neville Smythe having to make a save. In the 80th match minute, FC Johannesburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk-Jan Fortuin to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Ted Sandberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Neville Smythe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Neville Smythe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Richard Ek notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 minutes of play, Bispmotala BK's Ted Sandberg made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Neville Smythe was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bispmotala BK had played much better football throughout.
