FC Johannesburg's Tristan Nunes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Olgierd Sakowicz in the 19 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sylwester Borowski got free with Neville Smythe in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Stanton Klaasens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Borowski struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Neville Smythe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogoń Szczecin. With a little luck, Pogoń Szczecin's Krzysztof Domamir got control of the ball when Stanton Klaasens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dalton Kinnaird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Krzysztof Domamir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neville Smythe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Burdzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Brandon Liau kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Pogoń Szczecin's Sylwester Borowski in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Neville Smythe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pogoń Szczecin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
