Tomasz Falkowski started the match with the kick off. Reinhardt Steyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Dziedelonis having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, FC Johannesburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Liau to maneuver through the defense. FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC Johannesburg from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhardt Steyn came free, but Tomasz Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Pretoria Gostyń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Majusiak to maneuver through the defense. Dalton Kinnaird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tomasz Dziedelonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, FC Johannesburg's Dalton Kinnaird made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomasz Dziedelonis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Tomasz Falkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Johannesburg's Stanton Klaasens got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Dalton Kinnaird fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Dziedelonis having to interfere. The Pretoria Gostyń players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Johannesburg were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinhardt Steyn made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Johannesburg's Kaidan Vangelfeldt got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Kacper Pryputnicki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Neville Smythe skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th match minute, FC Johannesburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pretoria Gostyń's zone, Brandon Liau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Dziedelonis came out of the goal and Brandon Liau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Tomasz Dziedelonis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Brandon Liau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Dziedelonis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cobus Bischoff in the 68th minute of play forced Pretoria Gostyń's goalkeeper Tomasz Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandon Liau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Tomasz Dziedelonis made a huge save. Tomasz Dziedelonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhardt Steyn in the 79th minute of play. Tomasz Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhardt Steyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Michal Malewicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Dalton Kinnaird threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pretoria Gostyń's Michal Malewicki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Przemyslaw Piszczor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Neville Smythe having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Falkowski in the 95th minute of play forced FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Neville Smythe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandon Liau's late challenge caught a Pretoria Gostyń's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Liau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Brandon Liau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
