The SITIO CITY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the FC Johannesburg defense, Maurício Brandão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neville Smythe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Morais in the 45th minute of play forced FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Neville Smythe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Maciel in the 47th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. Neville Smythe came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho. But to his dismay, Luís Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 77 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Carvalho came free, but Neville Smythe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neville Smythe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Rui Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Neville Smythe made a huge save. FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC Johannesburg from getting a goal against them.
