Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when André-Pierre Gignac made the kick off which started today's match. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Cheito Brandao made a precise shot to the right of Christian Wenerdahl. IFK Göteborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 16 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Arcari. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Miguel Urane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenaventura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Urane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Wenerdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Wenerdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 18th minute of the match. André-Pierre Gignac blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Wenerdahl having to make a save. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for IFK Göteborg! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Buenaventura FC. Miguel Urane stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Wenerdahl. 0-2. Christian Wenerdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André-Pierre Gignac's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Lövkvist came free, but Leonidas Barrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Lindkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonidas Barrera. Buenaventura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Lindkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André-Pierre Gignac in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Wenerdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 33rd minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Christian Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Wenerdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 35th minute of the match. Buenaventura FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after IFK Göteborg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Urane took the corner. Leonidas Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Lövkvist in the 40th minute of the match. Roger Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Wenerdahl having to interfere. IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 46th minute of play. When Miguel Urane came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Buenaventura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Urane couldn't finish the play. After the first half Buenaventura FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Christian Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. André-Pierre Gignac took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Wenerdahl. Christian Wenerdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 56 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Lindkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonidas Barrera. Buenaventura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Lindkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Miguel Urane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Christian Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Christian Wenerdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André-Pierre Gignac, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Roger Martinez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Wenerdahl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After taking down the ball on Buenaventura FC's corner Miguel Urane fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Wenerdahl quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Buenaventura FC's Roger Martinez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. In the 87th minute Buenaventura FC were awarded a corner. Miguel Urane went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Buenaventura FC's Miguel Urane to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Wenerdahl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Christian Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's André-Pierre Gignac. But to his dismay, André-Pierre Gignac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Mattias Biörkman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Miguel Urane was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Göteborg from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Buenaventura FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than IFK Göteborg.
