The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Maziarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. André-Pierre Gignac hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Andrés Chavez got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 33rd match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Niedbalski to maneuver through the defense. Leonidas Barrera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Roger Martinez struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Wit Kasperowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save KS LEW Chorzów from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Budzynski in the 58th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonidas Moscoso fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buenaventura FC's protests and gave Leonidas Moscoso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leonidas Moscoso hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonidas Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Budzynski in the 67th minute of the match. Gerhard Vejs hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. André-Pierre Gignac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Wit Kasperowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerhard Vejs kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match.
