Paulo Teinturier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eduardo Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Paulo Teinturier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Jordy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bart Vetter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play.

La Bichineta's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 3-3 became the score in the 65th minute when Paulo Teinturier elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Vetter in the 68th minute of play. Eduardo Jordy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Teinturier, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The corner led to R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. R.C. Marseille fully deserved thier win.
