Niclas Österberg started the match with the kick off. Niclas Österberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Niclas Österberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Kapp was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. DIF LEEDS BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inge Rosen in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Holger Lidström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pepe Kapp quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Oscar Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselm Pomp in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Inge Rosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, FC Lilli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthäus von der Putten to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Lilli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inge Rosen was slow to take the kick. During this time DIF LEEDS BK's players had a chance to rest. 20 minutes into the game, Holger Lidström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pepe Kapp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andréas Linqvist scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pepe Kapp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pepe Kapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Lidström in the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inge Rosen during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Lilli booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Andréas Linqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselm Pomp was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Henning Zindel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lilli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Zindel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aílton Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oscar Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Niclas Österberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Pepe Kapp made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Österberg in the 68th minute of play forced FC Lilli's goalkeeper Pepe Kapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Folke Nordin hit a great ball. Niclas Österberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Pepe Kapp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Axel Lundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pepe Kapp. FC Lilli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niclas Österberg got free with Pepe Kapp in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Niclas Österberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörg Püschel, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jörg Püschel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
