Genaro Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lázaro Peru fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivermania FC's protests and gave Lázaro Peru a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Peru. Genaro Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Mauricio Sergi made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Flor. Los Liquisue FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Perico got free with Alejandro Truylos in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Guido Domiku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Liquisue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivermania FC the free kick. Genaro Flor had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Camilo Sayveon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 32nd minute Mauricio Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Chumo in the 35th minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Truylos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Flor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauricio Sergi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 66 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Peru came free, but Genaro Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Jairo Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rivermania FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
