Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16thth minute of the game Andres Oper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Strib Galacticos IF got a corner. Deportivo Balvanera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mike Tyson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mike Tyson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Andres Oper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strib Galacticos IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Oper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Behe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Taurino came free, but Hasan Fuleager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro López to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagbard Ribov in the 36th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro López to make the kick off. Andres Oper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cayetano Behe made a huge save. When Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Balvanera's goalie prevented a goal. Hasan Fuleager took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Strib Galacticos IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Balvanera.
