Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zeledon Orland made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th minute Zeledon Orland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Edgard Sadurni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fecha Libre and the Pendotiba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Fecha Libre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fecha Libre's Zeledon Orland got a free kick in the 11th minute. Pendotiba's Ricardinho Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Sadurni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco Armanca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Cristian Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Franco Armanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franco Armanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's Cristian Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Armanca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franco Armanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Hermes in the 33rd minute of play. Cristian Hoffmann scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Armanca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franco Armanca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Fecha Libre defense, Cristian Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Armanca. The Fecha Libre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Armanca should have stopped the shot. After the first half Pendotiba were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Pendotiba got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Weather. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Orland in the 54th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Evaristo de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Armanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Neves in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Pedro Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Armanca made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cristian Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. Pendotiba's Evaristo de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Orland in the 63rd minute of play. Fecha Libre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Paulo Neves scored to the left of an out of position Franco Armanca, making the score, 0-4. The throw-in from Pedro Caitano in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pendotiba's Naldo Hermes. Cristian Hoffmann took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Armanca. Franco Armanca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Franco Armanca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Pedro Caitano in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pendotiba's Naldo Hermes. In the 82nd minute of the game Pedro Caitano made a throw-in which Daniel Tartalo played forward. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Cristian Hoffmann took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Franco Armanca to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Hoffmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Armanca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. A collision led to Fecha Libre getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Pedro Caitano hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Cristian Hoffmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Franco Armanca, 0-8. Pendotiba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
