With an all-out effort, LauerArmy's Joel Tolsson threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kléber Guedes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 7th match minute, BK Värdsholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Eklund to maneuver through the defense. Romeu Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilian Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson got control of the ball when Romeu Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aílton Campidelis hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Roger Norberg's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Norberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Teixeiras short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Joel Tolsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sven Häger kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléber Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joel Tolsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Wilian Guimarães had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Roy Hamberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Guedes was the one to do the kick off. Roy Hamberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BK Värdsholmen! Joel Tolsson had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulo Renato Valladares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Peder Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Teixeira took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Tolsson. Joel Tolsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goalkeeper Wilian Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peder Gernberg. In the 66th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Peder Gernberg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, LauerArmy's Aílton Campidelis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Tolsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LauerArmy reached it. Joel Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeu Prado in the 78th minute of play. BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Teixeira in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when John Eckegren came free, but Wilian Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peder Gernberg during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Renato Valladares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Tolsson. BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 97 minutes, Bo-Erik Grelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Värdsholmen and the LauerArmy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes BK Värdsholmen got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Grelsson. The audience held their breath when Franklin Alvarenga in the 99th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Joel Tolsson's left hand side. BK Värdsholmen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
