With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Vulpăşin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui de Lima in the 42nd minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ferrari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Antunes should have stopped the shot.
