SAN LORENZO FC's John Locke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save SAN LORENZO FC from getting a goal against them. Ciriaco Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Froilan Jatsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneliu Vulpăşin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Cordarrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Cordarrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Cordarrell made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Ciriaco Cordarrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 57 minutes on the clock, Marcelo Michael commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. SAN LORENZO FC:s John Locke showed great skill when he stopped Aurel Huștiu:s penalty. Justino Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Froilan Jatsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Ruperto Erlantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Erlantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ruperto Erlantz came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Erlantz couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Ruperto Erlantz made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper John Locke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SAN LORENZO FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
