Martin Munter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatan Ibragimbekov's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Martin Munter was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the game, Åke Dalman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andreas Stolpe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the game, one of Hartlepool:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The wind increased when Zlatan Ibragimbekov made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Fabian Fager made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Stolpe. Nuka Crazies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Hartlepool's zone, Zlatan Ibragimbekov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Munter came out of the goal and Zlatan Ibragimbekov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
