Emanuel Bazinet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Bazinet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zakariás Vándor in the 13th minute of the match. Emanuel Bazinet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domonkos Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Géza György was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Henter Somosd's players had a chance to rest. 21 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goalkeeper Tamás Cseh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoine Norton. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zakariás Vándor in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Bazinet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Will Donovan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dániel Fenyvessy in the 29 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Antoine Norton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tamás Cseh was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in FC Henter Somosd's zone, Antoine Norton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamás Cseh came out of the goal and Antoine Norton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Will Donovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Bazinet made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Zakariás Vándor sent off a good shot on target. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Emanuel Bazinet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Lisboa e Benfica from getting a goal against them. Antoine Norton struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tamás Cseh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Lisboa e Benfica. The corner led Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Marquis Hopper to fire away a dangerous shot which Tamás Cseh despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dániel Fenyvessy made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dominik Szoboszlai immediately put the ball in play. 73 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Antoine Norton came free, but Tamás Cseh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
