The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Kenneth Heistad during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brufoss IL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match, Lawrence De Marco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Borys Witek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lawrence De Marco to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Rapinett saved Attard Gunners from getting behind.
