Ove Lundqvist's late challenge caught a Mi querida Fabiola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Mi querida Fabiola's protests and gave Evelio Mikelar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Asarum booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asarum's Seppe Dobbeleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Vigil in the 43rd minute of play. Ove Lundqvist hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Seppe Dobbeleir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Asarum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
