Felix Cosoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RAMBO FC. Felix Cosoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheche Bellogin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benvide Cercalde in the 15th minute of play forced UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper Felix Cosoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasto Cobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Felix Cosoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Cosoreanu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by RAMBO FC's Benvide Cercalde. But to his dismay, Benvide Cercalde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Erasto Cobo came free, but Felix Cosoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Lucas Rico got a free kick in the 31st minute. UFC STEAUA's Emanuel Gheorghe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Cheche Bellogin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Cosoreanu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheche Bellogin in the 36th minute of play forced UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper Felix Cosoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UFC STEAUA's Felix Cosoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benvide Cercalde in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Tancredo. After 39 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Tancredo. Felix Cosoreanu came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by RAMBO FC's Benvide Cercalde. But to his dismay, Benvide Cercalde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benvide Cercalde was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benvide Cercalde got free with Felix Cosoreanu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 51st match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Hurezeanu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Benvide Cercalde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Cosoreanu. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. RAMBO FC's Jacinto Lobado was substituted for Erasto Cobo. Felix Cosoreanu made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Benvide Cercalde sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, RAMBO FC's Felix Cosoreanu threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benvide Cercalde, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Enaut Ziguenza kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Iraunkor Reimundez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Felix Cosoreanu managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when RAMBO FC's Benvide Cercalde fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when RAMBO FC's Jacinto Lobado in the 91st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Felix Cosoreanu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for UFC STEAUA through an amazing save. Emanuel Gheorghe charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Gheorghe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Gheorghe. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Benvide Cercalde took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Felix Cosoreanu to make any attempt to save it.
