Martín Izquierdo made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Dito Sousa sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dito Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes of play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21stth minute of the game Sebastián Izquierdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MALAIA FDFDF's Sílvio Luiz Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson da Fonseca got free with Martín Izquierdo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sílvio Luiz Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastián Izquierdo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Benicio Izquierdo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martin Palermo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MALAIA FDFDF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Benicio Izquierdo got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, MALAIA FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Izquierdo came free, but Sílvio Luiz Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín Izquierdo having to interfere. Dito Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sebastián Izquierdo sped through MALAIA FDFDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Luiz Paraense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson da Fonseca made a kick off. Sebastián Izquierdos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Sílvio Luiz Paraense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Perrando in the 54th minute of play forced MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when MALAIA FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martín Izquierdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Ruperto Porfirio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ruperto Porfirio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Martin Palermo F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ruperto Porfirio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 65 minutes into the game, one of Martin Palermo F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of MALAIA FDFDF booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Sousa in the 73rd minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Izquierdo in the 74th minute of the match. When Dario Cordarrol fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martin Palermo F.C.'s protests and gave Dario Cordarrol a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Cordarrol hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Dito Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Izquierdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Martin Palermo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Christian Izquierdo. Benicio Izquierdo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Martín Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Freitas in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Benicio Izquierdo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Martin Palermo F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
