Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Valério Xavier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Celso Frutos got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 7th minute of the match FC Barrera 2.0 got a corner. Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquim Matos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Betão Paulista came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Martin Palermo F.C.'s Benicio Izquierdo. But to his dismay, Benicio Izquierdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Christian Izquierdo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Izquierdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Christian Izquierdo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Martin Palermo F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Benicio Izquierdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gildo Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Betão Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Izquierdo in the 26th minute of the match. Martín Izquierdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, one of FC Barrera 2.0:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Betão Paulista had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Jorge Jaunti's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the FC Barrera 2.0 defense, Jorge Jaunti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Paulista. The FC Barrera 2.0 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Paulista should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Sebastián Izquierdo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Barrera 2.0's Betão Paulista. Betão Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benicio Izquierdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastián Izquierdo to make the kick off. Betão Paulista made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Sebastián Izquierdo sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Valério Xavier notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo. Martín Izquierdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valério Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Martín Izquierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Martín Izquierdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Xavier in the 63rd minute of play. Sebastián Izquierdos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Betão Paulista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Betão Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Martin Palermo F.C.'s zone, Gerson Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martín Izquierdo came out of the goal and Gerson Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Betão Paulista made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Sebastián Izquierdo sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute of the match, Benicio Izquierdo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Betão Paulista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Perrando to maneuver through the defense. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Xavier in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Sebastián Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Xavier in the 86th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Martín Izquierdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Valério Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martín Izquierdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Benjamin Izquierdo got a free kick in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Joaquim Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barrera 2.0's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martín Izquierdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valério Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Martin Palermo F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
