When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastián Izquierdo made a kick off. Emerson da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Maria Rosa got free with Martín Izquierdo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MALAIA FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Martin Palermo F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adelino Freitas took the corner. The corner led MALAIA FDFDF's Adelino Freitas to fire away a dangerous shot which Martín Izquierdo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Emerson da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of MALAIA FDFDF booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Cordarrol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Jaunti walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Sebastián Izquierdo put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Luiz Paraense. In the 88th minute MALAIA FDFDF were awarded a corner. Adelino Freitas went to the cornerflag to take it. MALAIA FDFDF's Adelino Freitas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martín Izquierdo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 94 minutes of play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there!
