Martín Izquierdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxi Araujo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 6 minutes Martin Palermo F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benth Vedelsgaard who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Maxi Araujo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastián Sosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Perrando went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Guido Orlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastián Sosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC made a substitution. Zacarias Guiles replaced Xavier Gabiña. If Danel Belluga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martín Izquierdo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danel Belluga was the one to do the kick off. Danel Belluga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danel Belluga in the 63rd minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Martín Izquierdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Estoyanoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Izquierdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Zacarias Guiles might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martín Izquierdo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacarias Guiles ran back to his position shaking his head. Larry Estoyanoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín Izquierdo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danel Belluga in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martín Izquierdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th match minute, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danel Belluga to maneuver through the defense. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Miguel Jaimes was substituted for Larry Estoyanoff. After a rather tough play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Danel Belluga got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Jaimes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Martin Palermo F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
