Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emerson Leal started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Christian Izquierdo got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 19th minute, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Christian Izquierdo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Paranaense in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Izquierdo got free with Sílvio Luiz Zanette in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Giovanni Pimenta got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Sebastián Izquierdo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martin Palermo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastián Izquierdo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sebastián Izquierdo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Luiz Zanette. Espigão Steamrollers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastián Izquierdo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Emerson Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Sebastián Izquierdo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luiz Zanette was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo managed to work through Espigão Steamrollers's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sebastián Izquierdo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cristian Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 75 minutes, Yuri Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espigão Steamrollers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Ruperto Porfirio got a free kick in the 80th minute. Emerson Leal, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Espigão Steamrollers getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Otávio Valadares hit a great ball. In the 83rd match minute, Espigão Steamrollers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Sebastián Izquierdo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luiz Zanette. Sílvio Luiz Zanette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Benicio Izquierdo's late challenge caught a Espigão Steamrollers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Izquierdo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Benicio Izquierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cauã Pombal hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Isaac Perrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Martin Palermo F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the Espigão Steamrollers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Martin Palermo F.C..
