MOEBIO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Aquiles Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Aquiles Castulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 11th minute of play. MOEBIO's Aquiles Castulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Salles in the 14th minute of play. Aquiles Castulo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Leonardo Trancoso. But to his dismay, Leonardo Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fernandão Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. MOEBIO were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Castanheiro SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Mel took the corner. MOEBIO's Emanuel Mel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernandão Penha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aquiles Castulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 28th minute of the match. Fernandão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Cedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Leonardo Trancoso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquiles Castulo. Leonardo Trancoso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Trancoso came free, but Aquiles Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Castulo was a little too slow when Cristian Salles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 5-0. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hélder Madureira hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bebeto Reno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Trancoso scored 6-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Castulo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquiles Castulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Cristian Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Aquiles Castulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernandão Penha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiberius Milaa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-1 in the 64 minute of play. José Maria Quadros scored 8-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Castulo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Reno in the 76th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Fernandão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match MOEBIO got a corner. Castanheiro SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Mel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on MOEBIO's corner Emanuel Mel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernandão Penha quite easily take care of the ball. Aquiles Castulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Salles in the 79th minute of the match. Aquiles Castulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MOEBIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Castanheiro SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
