Serbülent Baysan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cruz Salcedo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Alexandrino Gameiro sent off a good shot on target. Cruz Salcedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baumar Ontanilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbasa Sandoval to strike the kick off in the second half. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After taking down the ball on Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's corner Jacobo Ortzi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serbülent Baysan quite easily take care of the ball. Cruz Salcedo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Vitaliy Fedchenko. But to his dismay, Vitaliy Fedchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2.
