The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when Bélkő SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Árpád Somlyai didn't get a good kick on the ball. György Kaszás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Landeras, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Bélkő SE's György Kaszás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Bélkő SE from getting a goal against them. Peppe Mascara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Walter Huarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Peppe Mascara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peppe Mascara in the 14th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Peppe Mascara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Csaba Szepes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Huarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Pablo-Enrique Oneca kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peppe Mascara in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Peppe Mascara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Huarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Filippo Cino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peppe Mascara in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. György Kaszás came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Astillero del Guayas's Zarando Eguizabal. But to his dismay, Zarando Eguizabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulizes Sola was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Hakkı Deniz Bedi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match, Peppe Mascara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walter Huarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peppe Mascara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walter Huarte firmly grabbed it by the left post. The corner led to Bélkő SE's László Hajdú getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Peppe Mascaras short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Walter Huarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Máté Kristóf charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Máté Kristóf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. György Kaszás had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ulizes Sola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ulizes Sola scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of György Kaszás, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peppe Mascara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bélkő SE's Peppe Mascara in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astillero del Guayas's goalie prevented a goal. Peppe Mascara in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walter Huarte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Walter Huarte came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Bélkő SE's Peppe Mascara. But to his dismay, Peppe Mascara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Filippo Cino made a precise shot to the right of Walter Huarte. Astillero del Guayas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bélkő SE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
