In the 17th minute, Jan-Erik Lönn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Su kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Teobald Bator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Ronconi in the 22nd minute of play. Ludomil Hajder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Justo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
