Leif Lindström made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ola Askstedt immediately put the ball in play. Idrak Mahmudov kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Gilberto Jakobe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stefan Söder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15thth minute of the game Gilberto Jakobe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stefan Söder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Jakobe's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes in the game Leif Lindström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ola Askstedt. After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's Idrak Mahmudov got a free kick in the 18th minute. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Yngve Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Lindström made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ola Askstedt. After a defensive mix-up in Arrecifes's zone, Alvin Söderkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Romero came out of the goal and Alvin Söderkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes, Gilberto Jakobe made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Gilberto Jakobe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrecifes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 47th minute, Gilberto Jakobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Söder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Arrecifes were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yngve Lindberg to make the kick off. Kjell Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefan Söder. That made the score 0-5 after 61 minutes of play. The Arrecifes fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arrecifes made a substitution. Elberg Monte replaced Ayi Sarumpaet. Igor Emmanuel might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Söder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Emmanuel ran back to his position shaking his head. Stefan Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Leif Lindström hit a great ball. Stefan Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Emmanuel in the 79th minute of the match. Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Westra Aros SK from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Westra Aros SK defense, Igor Emmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Söder. The Westra Aros SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Söder should have stopped the shot. Igor Emmanuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Söder having to make a save. With a little luck, Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder got control of the ball when Igor Emmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Arrecifes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arrecifes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
