In the 10th minute Titus Pierson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Bucket made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Peterson in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Eli Cash got a free kick in the 16th minute. FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Pace in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes in the game Eli Cash did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Julio Hess. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 66th match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Haram to maneuver through the defense. Eli Cash kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Hasan Haram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Lio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Bucket having to interfere. Mats Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Titus Pierson in the 73rd minute. Eli Cash got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Julio Hess. After 78 minutes, Dráuzio Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brooklyn SC and the FC Kurdistan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute of the match Brooklyn SC got a corner. FC Kurdistan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ace Owens ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mats Elg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 91st match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eli Cash to maneuver through the defense. Charlie Bucket took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Peterson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Brooklyn SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
