In the 10th minute, Jordan Peterson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Narcis Agachi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Palička was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Oskar Lustig fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kurdistan's protests and gave Oskar Lustig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Lustig to maneuver through the defense. Eddie Andreasson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bogdan Lobonț came out and tried to block the shot, but Eddie Andreasson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Andreasson in the 28th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordan Peterson in the 28th minute of play. Calistrat Potopea scored 2-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Palička, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dragoş Cordescu charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragoş Cordescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to F.C CLUJ MEDICINA getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dragoş Cordescu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordan Peterson got free with Bogdan Lobonț in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38thth minute of the game Eddie Andreasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Hans Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Narcis Agachi led 40 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. FC Kurdistan's Andreas Palička became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-3. Leontin Teodoreanu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Andreasson in the 47th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narcis Agachi to make the kick off. Andreas Palička made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Agachi in the 58th minute of play. Roger Forssell hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Fabian Lundström replaced Eddie Andreasson. Roger Forssell kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Andreas Palička didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valeriu Bucurescu went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Narcis Agachi put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Andreas Palička. Malcolm Benett struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Bogdan Lobonț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurdistan. Marco Lio scored 3-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Lobonț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When FC Kurdistan's Fabian Lundström in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalie prevented a goal. FC Kurdistan's Andreas Palička proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdistan from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the game, Narcis Agachi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andreas Palička. Narcis Agachi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-6. During the 82nd minute of the match Dragoş Cordescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dragoş Cordescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 82 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Cordescu. Andreas Palička took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Potopea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Kurdistan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! FC Kurdistan:s Andreas Palička showed great skill when he stopped Narcis Agachi:s penalty. Alex Martinsson's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Martinsson helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
