An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Jakes in the 4th minute of play forced Wonderkids's goalkeeper Emil Nikoloski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Stardust Unicorns XI's Ulf Skoog got control of the ball when Svetozar Petrusevski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Skoog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Riste Lazarevski in the 11th minute. The supporters of Wonderkids booed when Stardust Unicorns XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Love Hammer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Nikoloski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Emil Nikoloski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Jakes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, Roman Jakes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Nikoloski. Wonderkids's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Jakes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anísio Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Alphan Özdoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Nikoloski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riste Lazarevski during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stardust Unicorns XI booed when Wonderkids was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riste Lazarevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Wonderkids defense, Roman Jakes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Nikoloski. The Wonderkids fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Nikoloski should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Roman Jakes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stardust Unicorns XI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Wonderkids's zone, Roman Jakes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Nikoloski came out of the goal and Roman Jakes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristinel Turbatu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristinel Turbatu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Stardust Unicorns XI got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Turbatu. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Jakes to strike the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Vegim Cvetkovski with Rayman Guiral as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Roman Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Nikoloski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Svetozar Petrusevski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulf Skoog was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 63 minutes into the game, Wen Zhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stardust Unicorns XI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wonderkids the free kick. The supporters of Wonderkids booed when Stardust Unicorns XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wen Zhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Roman Jakes struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Emil Nikoloski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stardust Unicorns XI. 76 minutes into the match, Roman Jakes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Nikoloski. In the 85th minute, Stardust Unicorns XI's Roman Jakes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Wonderkids's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Roman Jakes scored to the left of an out of position Emil Nikoloski, making the score, 1-8. After a rather tough play, Stardust Unicorns XI's Frits Andriessen got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ulf Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorik Cana in the 97th minute of play. Stardust Unicorns XI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
