Egemen Emek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Papaiakovou having to interfere. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egemen Emek in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, PAOK B's Filippos Stathopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manos Papaiakovou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute Yao Ting Bing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Papaiakovou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Stelios Philipidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. Go Ahead Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stelios Philipidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Apostolos Antoniou charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apostolos Antoniou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PAOK B booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolos Antoniou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippos Stathopoulos scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manos Papaiakovou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Egemen Emek scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manos Papaiakovou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikos Moustos during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cecilio Ortle came out of the goal and Panagiotis Bourousis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Egemen Emek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Filippos Stathopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAOK B fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelios Philipidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Stelios Philipidis came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Manos Papaiakovou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stelios Philipidis went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Stelios Philipidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manos Papaiakovou came out and tried to block the shot, but Stelios Philipidis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 54th minute. In the 58th play minute Filippos Stathopoulos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manos Papaiakovou. 0-10. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Christodoulos Vazakas got a free kick in the 67th minute. Filippos Stathopoulos in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manos Papaiakovou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Panagiotis Bourousis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Ortle was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Stelios Philipidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manos Papaiakovou. The goal made the score 0-12. PAOK B's Aral Saltık was substituted for Nixon Richard. Giovanni Parisis came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manos Papaiakovou could save by the left post. Manos Papaiakovou was a little too slow when Egemen Emek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-13. In the 87th minute, Stelios Philipidis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manos Papaiakovou, passed just outside the right post. In the 88th minute, Panagiotis Bourousis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yao Ting Bing in the 91st minute of play. PAOK B's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
