Stig Bengtsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Froilan Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Molin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Ove Molin got free with Froilan Llorian in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian got control of the ball when Jens-Ove Molin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Xabat in the 14th minute of play. Cecilio Rioja's late challenge caught a SoS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Rioja helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Cecilio Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Xabat in the 19th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Stig Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SoS FC booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Natal during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Natal to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, SoS FC's Harry Hallgren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Llorian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Froilan Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Molin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Froilan Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Molin in the 30th minute of the match. SoS FC's Jens-Ove Molin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 34th minute Jens-Ove Molin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SoS FC's Harry Hallgren got a free kick in the 38th minute. Stig Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Natal in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of SoS FC booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Omar Abecia made the kick off in the second half. Froilan Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Molin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pelle Erserman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Froilan Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Jens-Ove Molin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SoS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Pelle Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot. SoS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Erserman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Llorian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 minutes, Urbano Handi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almeyra F.C. and the SoS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urbano Handi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jens-Ove Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Froilan Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Molin in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hugo Lucero fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almeyra F.C.'s protests and gave Hugo Lucero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Jonny Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Almeyra F.C. defense, Mats Pettersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Llorian. The Almeyra F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Llorian should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Mats Pettersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Llorian. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Pettersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. SoS FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
