The referee ignored Atlético Nacional's protests and gave Gerardo Pirmin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nacional's Gerardo Pirmin got a free kick in the 6th minute. Atlético Nacional's Wilfredo Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chinto Gala in the 7th minute of play. Atlético Nacional's Wilfredo Berriotxoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Nacional from getting a goal against them. Wilfredo Berriotxoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chinto Gala went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tadeo Barea made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfredo Fix. Wilfredo Berriotxoa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chinto Gala showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Belarmino Feria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Atlético Nacional's Tadeo Barea suffered a concussion after 28 minutes and had to leave the field. A collision led to Alas de Júpiter getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Belarmino Feria hit a great ball. When Belarmino Feria came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Alas de Júpiter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belarmino Feria couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Berriotxoa was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Belarmino Feria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Belarmino Feria really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
In the 54th minute, Chinto Gala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Berriotxoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some careless play in the Atlético Nacional defense, Chinto Gala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Berriotxoa. The Atlético Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Berriotxoa should have stopped the shot. Wilfredo Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chinto Gala in the 61st minute of the match. Wilfredo Berriotxoa came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alas de Júpiter's Chinto Gala. But to his dismay, Chinto Gala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Chinto Gala kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Wilfredo Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chinto Gala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Chinto Gala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfredo Berriotxoa. Atlético Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chinto Gala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Lucio Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Johans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alas de Júpiter fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Alas de Júpiter's Chinto Gala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st match minute, Atlético Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Alas de Júpiter's Telmo Zarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfredo Berriotxoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. After having played for 86 minutes, Telmo Zarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alas de Júpiter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Zarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Chinto Gala made a precise shot to the right of Wilfredo Berriotxoa. Atlético Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. 94 minutes into the game, Chinto Gala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Wilfredo Berriotxoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alas de Júpiter had played much better football throughout.
