Parque Europa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicodim Zogreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Balesio Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicodim Zogreanu went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Burnei to maneuver through the defense. Costică Brânzaș took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Balesio Velasco. Balesio Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Brânzaș got free with Balesio Velasco in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Parque Europa FC's Balesio Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Parque Europa FC from getting a goal against them. After 37 played minutes Parque Europa FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Olano. Balesio Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Burnei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balesio Velasco was a little too slow when Sorin Lipan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
