Ernest Ştati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wojciech Drebit went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sorin Lipan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costică Brânzaș in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markus Asplund saved Injuries from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Burnei in the 76th minute of play forced Injuries's goalkeeper Markus Asplund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Ionuț Nicolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Zogreanu in the 92nd minute of play forced Injuries's goalkeeper Markus Asplund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Injuries's Reinhardt Stenseth made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Ştati was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the match, Injuries's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Lipan came free, but Markus Asplund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Injuries's performance. The match ended with a win for Injuries.
