Újlõrincfalva LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iván Koncz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Gaarder in the 18th minute of play. Kjønstad BF's Tamer Aksel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Krisztián Kántor in the 20 minute of the game. The supporters of Újlõrincfalva LC booed when Kjønstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Panfilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toma Lechev in the 24th minute of play forced Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper Illés Kiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Illés Bihari came free, but Jarle Volden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krisztián Kántor kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Toma Lechev came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Kjønstad BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toma Lechev couldn't finish the play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thor Gaarder to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iván Koncz got free with Jarle Volden in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Illés Kiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toma Lechev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Richárd Dárdai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 68th match minute, Újlõrincfalva LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máté Bíró to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Pedro Luís Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illés Kiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarle Volden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábián Müller in the 71st minute of the match. Richárd Dárdai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jarle Volden made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Újlõrincfalva LC's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Gaarder came free, but Illés Kiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
