Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Heitor Peseiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Programayin's Bonifacio Pecina got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ortzi Aleja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ortzi Aleja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Vale in the 17th minute of play. Ortzi Aleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes, André Roriz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Programayin's Ortzi Aleja tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Programayin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelmiro Garantos to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Roriz was the one to do the kick off. Alexandre Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Programayin defense, André Roriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ortzi Aleja. The Programayin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ortzi Aleja should have stopped the shot. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Obafemi Fabiani replaced Alexandre Vale. Garanhão do SUL's Elias Garikoitz was substituted for Albano Leizarraga. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's António Gama got a free kick in the 67th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Elias Garikoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ortzi Aleja. Programayin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Garikoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 82nd minute, Obafemi Fabiani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Programayin's goal looked a bit too open when António Gama came free, but Ortzi Aleja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Programayin's Inacio Bettencourt got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tarcísio Palha, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Elias Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Seda came free, but Heitor Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Programayin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Garanhão do SUL's performance. The match ended with a win for Garanhão do SUL.
