Ben Minton made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Hubert Wallengren sent off a good shot on target. Sven Kilström kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Lars Helander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ben Minton, 2-0. In the 17th minute, NovaStella FK's Lars Helander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ben Minton. Ben Minton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Baba in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Stålberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. NovaStella FK's Lukas Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sharizan Keng in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gaspar Olando hit a great ball. Paul Kvalfält hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Hubert Wallengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ben Minton made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in NovaStella FK's zone, Gaspar Olando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukas Stålberg came out of the goal and Gaspar Olando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Wallengren in the 38th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ben Minton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sharizan Keng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Minton was a little too slow when Ingvar Håkansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 4-0. Lawrance Alwege hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Olando was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Gaspar Olando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Sharizan Keng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Australian Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sharizan Keng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Helander hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Gaspar Olando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lawrance Alwege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Lawrance Alwege managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Australian Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lawrance Alwege was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Håkansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ben Minton was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 70th minute Lars Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Minton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NovaStella FK's Lukas Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Olando in the 75th minute of play. The throw-in from Paul Kvalfält in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Australian Youth Academy's Lawrance Alwege. In the 78th minute Gaspar Olando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Baba was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 82nd minute, Sharizan Keng made a precise shot to the right of Lukas Stålberg. NovaStella FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 89 minutes into the game, Linus Lundblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NovaStella FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Australian Youth Academy the free kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, NovaStella FK could leave the field as winners, despite Australian Youth Academy having more of the ball for most of the match.
