Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fletcher Baba took the kick off in the first half of the match. Australian Youth Academy's Humberto Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edi Cavani in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Antony Cuddihy got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Pelle Haglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Velasco skillfully saved the ball. The corner ended in Fletcher Baba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Defensores de Lombroso's Tadeo Laurgain did a great save. In the 20thth minute of the game Pelle Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Australian Youth Academy's Humberto Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Cruz in the 28th minute of play. Pelle Haglund hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Pelle Haglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Defensores de Lombroso's Pelle Haglund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 35th minute Edi Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fletcher Baba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Baba in the 38th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Laurgain was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carmichael Tinsley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 44 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelle Haglund to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fletcher Baba in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Laurgain saved Defensores de Lombroso from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Defensores de Lombroso's Pelle Haglund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Velasco. Humberto Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Keato in the 58th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Australian Youth Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Pelle Haglund scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Velasco, making the score, 3-5. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Arsenio Eudoxio replaced Ramon Edur. After 71 minutes of play Australian Youth Academy's Antony Cuddihy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Antony Cuddihy kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Arsenio Eudoxio hit a great ball. Arsenio Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Defensores de Lombroso's Tadeo Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Baba in the 78th minute of play. If Dante Baba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Velasco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 3-6. Pelle Haglund, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defensores de Lombroso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
