The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuhaitz Artiaga got free with Kléberson Laguna in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dalberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute Edinson Gentenaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Schumacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zé Paulo de Souza hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ferran Rial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kléberson Laguna made a huge save. Socavon FC's Toni Schumacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Aguiar in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of JFSP booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geleberto Monjo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Gentenaar came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo de Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toni Schumacher. Socavon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Paulo de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edinson Gentenaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, JFSP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Edinson Gentenaar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toni Schumacher, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Ordono Aspurua got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gualterio Rojo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Kléberson Laguna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socavon FC. Socavon FC made a substitution. Iturri Soldevilla replaced Ordono Aspurua. Edinson Gentenaar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match.
