The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bram Bosman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Kalessin fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Kalessin's Simon Romildo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Simon Romildo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nikos Kontodimos. 18 minutes into the game, Kalessin's Simon Romildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikos Kontodimos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 29th minute Bram Bosman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kontodimos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Kontodimos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Romildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Panthiseiakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasios Kastanias to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Simon Romildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kontodimos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Kontodimos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Romildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Kontodimos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Romildo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Vassilis Vlachakis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Simon Romildo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Nikos Kontodimos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalessin. Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Mavrakos in the 40th minute of play. Simon Romildo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikos Kontodimos. Nikos Kontodimos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Gonzalo Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Kontodimos having to interfere. Panthiseiakos's Nikos Kontodimos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Romildo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Kalessin were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anestis Mavrakos to make the kick off. Simon Romildo in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikos Kontodimos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kalessin's Simon Romildo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 54 minutes in the game, fortunately Nikos Kontodimos had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Federico Terciero put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Nikos Kontodimos. The supporters of Kalessin booed when Panthiseiakos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Samoladas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalessin's Federico Terciero got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Simon Romildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Kontodimos. Panthiseiakos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Romildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Kalessin made a substitution. Han Sang Xing replaced Bram Bosman. Han Sang Xing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikos Kontodimos having to make a save. Raimundo Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Mavrakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Romildos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Nikos Kontodimos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Panthiseiakos's Prokopis Papafotoulis got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Eugenio Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Panthiseiakos's Nikos Kontodimos got control of the ball when Saul Nicholas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saul Nicholas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Nikos Kontodimos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th minute, Saul Nicholas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalessin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Prokopis Papafotoulis's late challenge caught a Kalessin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prokopis Papafotoulis helped the player get up and apologised. Kalessin played a much better game than Panthiseiakos and deserved their victory. The Panthiseiakos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
