Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Botvik FC's Catarino Macena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Panthiseiakos's zone, Catarino Macena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Kontodimos came out of the goal and Catarino Macena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Otso Peteri fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botvik FC's protests and gave Otso Peteri a yellow card for diving instead. When Catarino Macena came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Botvik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Macena couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Botvik FC got a freekick which was hit by Otso Peteri. Catarino Macena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Kontodimos having to interfere. Catarino Macena kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Stergios Panoulias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jouni Läänelä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catarino Macena might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikos Kontodimos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Catarino Macena ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Stergios Panoulias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikos Kontodimos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Macena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Catarino Macena took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikos Kontodimos. Nikos Kontodimos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Pauli Kaarniemi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Botvik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pauli Kaarniemi couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Stergios Panoulias made the kick off in the second half. Catarino Macena did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Nikos Kontodimos 52 minutes into the match. Catarino Macena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikos Kontodimos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Catarino Macena lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Nikos Kontodimos. After 62 minutes of play, Botvik FC's Catarino Macena made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Kontodimos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Botvik FC defense, Stergios Panoulias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jouni Läänelä. The Botvik FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jouni Läänelä should have stopped the shot. Nikos Kontodimos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Macena in the 72nd minute of play. Catarino Macena might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikos Kontodimos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Catarino Macena ran back to his position shaking his head. Catarino Macena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Nikos Kontodimos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Catarino Macena sped through Panthiseiakos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikos Kontodimos. The Botvik FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
