In the 2nd minute, Garaile Pacio made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Kontodimos. Panthiseiakos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Socavon FC's Ferran Rial in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ferran Rial might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikos Kontodimos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferran Rial ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ferran Rial sped through Panthiseiakos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikos Kontodimos. Nikos Kontodimos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuhaitz Artiaga in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Panthiseiakos booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuhaitz Artiaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garaile Pacio scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Kontodimos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Franko Tio. Toni Schumacher made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Dimitris Koulouris sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ferran Rial's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikos Kontodimos was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34 minutes, Ferran Rial made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Panthiseiakos's Nikos Kontodimos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferran Rial in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikos Kontodimos saved Panthiseiakos from getting behind. Panthiseiakos's Nikos Kontodimos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferran Rial in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Panthiseiakos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dimitris Iakovakos hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Garaile Pacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stergios Panoulias made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Panthiseiakos's goalkeeper Nikos Kontodimos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferran Rial. 54 minutes into the game, Ferran Rial cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nikos Kontodimos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the game, Socavon FC's Garaile Pacio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikos Kontodimos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Nikos Kontodimos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garaile Pacio went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Socavon FC's Ferran Rial ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikos Kontodimos. Nikos Kontodimos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The Socavon FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Socavon FC's Ferran Rial looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Toni Schumacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stergios Panoulias in the 81st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Diagur Mellado in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Panthiseiakos's Koulis Psaridis. Nikos Kontodimos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferran Rial in the 85th minute. Ferran Rials short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Nikos Kontodimos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Panthiseiakos's attentive Koulis Psaridis managed to snatch the ball when Diagur Mellado made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute of the match, Ferran Rial got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nikos Kontodimos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ferran Rial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Panthiseiakos's goalkeeper Nikos Kontodimos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eneas Leal. A hard shot 96 in the game by Ferran Rial from a close distance when the talented Nikos Kontodimos managed to make a qualified save. Panthiseiakos's players were relieved. When the match was over Socavon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Panthiseiakos throughout the match.
